Privacy Policy
Effective and last updated: August 15, 2026
1. Scope and privacy officer
This policy describes GrenierStudio’s practices regarding personal information collected when using grenierstudio.com and the communications that follow. It does not cover external websites reached through links.
The person with the highest authority at GrenierStudio acts as Privacy Officer. You can reach the Privacy Officer through [email protected].
2. Information covered
Project form and email
The form may contain the following information:
- selected project type;
- expected budget range;
- name and email address;
- company name, when voluntarily provided;
- description of the need and any other information voluntarily included in the message.
This information remains in the page’s temporary memory while you complete the form. When you choose “Prepare email,” the site creates a prefilled mailto link and hands it to your browser, operating system, or email application. GrenierStudio receives the information only if you then send the message.
Technical browsing data
The site creates no visitor account or profile. Like any hosting infrastructure, the provider delivering the site may process technical data needed for operation and security, such as IP address, date and time, requested page, browser type, user agent, referring address, and diagnostic data. GrenierStudio does not use this information for advertising or profiling.
3. Purposes
Information received is used only to:
- understand and respond to your inquiry;
- assess a project, arrange a conversation, or prepare a proposal;
- provide requested services when a business relationship is established;
- prevent abuse, diagnose issues, and keep the site secure;
- comply with applicable legal obligations.
GrenierStudio does not sell or rent personal information and does not use it to send unsolicited marketing communications.
4. Cookies, local storage, and analytics
As of August 15, 2026, grenierstudio.com sets no cookies, uses no local or session storage, and embeds no analytics tool, advertising pixel, tag manager, or profiling technology. Form selections exist only in the page’s temporary memory and disappear when the page is reloaded or closed.
No cookie-consent banner is therefore displayed. If a non-essential analytics, identification, or profiling technology is added, GrenierStudio will reassess consent requirements and update this policy before enabling it.
5. Disclosure and service providers
Access is limited to people who need the information for the purposes described. Depending on the service used, technical providers may process certain information on GrenierStudio’s behalf, including the website hosting provider and email provider. Information may also be disclosed where required or permitted by law.
Hosting or email providers may process or store information outside Quebec, including elsewhere in Canada or in the United States, depending on their infrastructure and the service regions used.
6. Retention and deletion
The website retains no copy of the form. When an email is sent, it may be retained in the sender’s and GrenierStudio’s email systems. An inquiry that does not lead to a business relationship is normally deleted within 24 months of the last meaningful communication. If a contractual relationship begins, relevant information may become part of the client file and be kept as needed to provide services and meet legal, tax, accounting, or legal-claim obligations. It is then securely deleted.
Any technical data is retained according to the hosting provider’s operational and security schedules.
7. Safeguards
GrenierStudio applies reasonable safeguards suited to the limited information processed, including HTTPS encryption for the site, resource-loading restrictions, security headers, locally hosted assets, no third-party trackers, and access controls on accounts used for communications. No transmission or storage method is perfectly secure.
Ordinary email is not designed for highly sensitive information. Do not include passwords, banking information, government identifiers, medical records, or other sensitive data in an initial inquiry.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable legal conditions, you may request access to personal information held about you, ask that it be corrected, or withdraw consent for future use or disclosure. You may also ask a question or submit a complaint about GrenierStudio’s practices.
Send your request to the Privacy Officer through [email protected]. GrenierStudio may need to verify your identity before responding. If you are dissatisfied with the handling of your request, you may contact the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.
9. External links
The site links to PrepDeals, Construction CPL, and other external resources. No information is sent to those sites until you click a link. After the click, the external site may receive parameters in the address, the visit origin, and customary technical data under its own policy.
10. Changes
This policy may be updated when practices, providers, or legal requirements change. The date shown above identifies the current version. Any material change will be published prominently on the site.
